History of the museum

The Museum was opened in 1915.

The structure of local lore museum is traditional and consists of three departments; a of the nature, historical and art departments.
Now Totem local lore museum is the center of cultural life of northeast territories of Vologda region. New museums and the expositions, interesting excursions and creative activities meet the requirements of modern museum science and are very popular for visitors.
