Exhibitions and projects

At present the Ishym museum of local lore and history is located in two historical buildings. A Constant exposition is located in the house of a former parish school built by a merchant and a Maecenas Nikolai Chernyakovski. There are expositions related to nature, history, life-style, and dramatic episodes of wars and revolutions. In another building regular expositions are being held both out of the funds of the Ishym museum, and of the other Russian museums. There is also an exposition representing old pictures of Ishym. A Health Museum is also located in this building.
